Growing up in the odd sanctity of suburbia, I was left with an undying obsession to seek out the meaning of how one should encounter the world; a world not contingent upon mini-malls and giant cookie-cutter developments from the cold war era.
I am a self-proclaimed adventurer constantly on the prowl for a well-told story or a masterful image. I’ve lived in Connecticut, Vermont, Utah, Rhode Island, Boston, California and New York. Some day soon I will whisk my wife out of the city and into the snowy peaks of Montana. Until then, I continue to photograph and write about the people and places that mean something to me. With pen in hand and a camera slung over my shoulder, I happily travel to the unwritten corners of my destinations in order to learn about the community and the history from those that can recall.
